What's mental training?

Sport Psychology Today describes it this way:

“Mental training is the segment of sports psychology that concentrates specifically on helping athletes break through the mental barriers that are keeping them from performing up to their peak potential.”

 

Basically, mental training in athletics means preparing the mind to help you perform at your best, mentally and physically.

Is this

training recommended to a certain age?

Not really.
 

 

The content inside the training will be more understood if you are over 13 years old, but in case you're under 13, your parents can easily help you to make use of it.
 

 

If you acquire The Athlete Mentality Academy, you can ask questions in our private support group and I'll be glad to help you out if you need.

MY NAME IS 

GABRIEL DEIENO

I am a specialist in mental training for sports. I graduated in psychology in the USA and fell in love with the mental performance field when I started searching for ways to become a better football player.

After finding out my true passion, in 2017, I started sharing my knowledge and dedicating my life to teaching athletes how to be more confident, disciplined, focused, and motivated to unleash their full potential on and off the field.

I am behind the BIGGEST INSTAGRAM PAGE that teaches sports mindset and neuroscience, Athlete Mentality (@_athletementality), gathering more than 74k athletes.

Throughout years of research about how the greatest athletes' minds work, using neuroscience and psychology, I gathered tools and developed a scientific method to help athletes become more successful in their objectives.

My methodology makes athletes cope with nervousness, pessimism, criticism, lack of confidence, motivation, and other sports challenges that get in the way of athletes that are building a professional career.

By the end of 2021, I have helped athletes from more than 50 countries, in the Athlete Mentality Academy and also accompanying my mentored athletes daily.
